John Tenta, also known by his ring names "Earthquake" and "The Shark", was a Canadian professional wrestler and sumo wrestler. He was born on June 22, 1963, in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada and passed away on June 7, 2006, at the age of 42.
Tenta began his wrestling career in the late 1980s and gained prominence in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as the imposing and powerful Earthquake. He was known for his massive size and agility in the ring, often using his signature move, the Earthquake Splash, to defeat his opponents.
